Quick answers, then a real person if you need one.
My drops won't reach the jar.
Check the jar's open side: ink only gets in through the mouth. Tap Undo to fix one stroke, or Clear to start the board over.
How do I mix colours?
Two drops have to reach the same square at the same moment. Red + blue makes purple, red + yellow makes orange, blue + yellow makes green.
New phone? Where did my levels go?
Squink saves your campaign progress and the boards you haven't published only on your device, and doesn't sync them between devices, so a new phone starts fresh. Boards you've already published stay in the Studio for everyone to play. Not sure about your case? Email support@playsquink.com.
Still stuck?
Email support@playsquink.com and tell us the page and board number, like First Marks · 4.

Frequently asked questions
What is Studio?
Studio is Squink's level builder. You can design your own boards, test them, and publish them for other players. You can also browse and play boards that other players have shared.
How does sharing levels work?
When you publish a board from Studio, every Squink player can see and play it. It appears with an auto-generated level name and your auto-generated player name. Published levels can't be edited. Other players can favorite and thumb your levels.
Can people message me or see my personal information?
No. Squink has no chat and no free-text fields. Level names and player names come from a word list we choose. Other players see only your boards and your auto-generated player name.
How do I report a level?
In Studio, find the level in the shared lists, open Report on it, and choose a reason: offensive, spam, harassment or stolen. A level that several players report is hidden automatically until we review it. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and can remove levels that copy someone else's work or break our rules.
You can also email support@playsquink.com with the level name and the player name shown on it, and tell us what's wrong.
How do I block a player?
In Studio, open Report on one of their levels and tap Block. You won't see that player's levels anymore. To see who you've blocked or to unblock someone, go to Settings.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and tap Delete account, then confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your Studio account, player name, the levels you published and their preview images, your favorites, thumbs, reports and blocks.
If you can't use the app, email support@playsquink.com with your Studio player name and we'll delete your account within 30 days.
Deleting the app removes the progress and boards saved on your device.
How do I report a bug?
Email support@playsquink.com and include:
- your device model, for example iPhone 15 or iPad Air;
- your iOS or iPadOS version (Settings > General > About);
- the Squink version and build number (shown for Squink in the TestFlight app);
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead;
- the level, if it happened on one;
- a screenshot or screen recording if you can.
Beta testers can also send feedback with a screenshot directly through TestFlight.
Is Squink for kids?
Squink is a general-audience puzzle game and isn't directed at children under 13. Parents with questions or data requests can email us.
